Vegan Cuts May 2016 REVIEW

6/6/2016

Picture
I feel like few people do this, so maybe I'm just the odd man out- but when i get these beauty boxes I want to go back and review what's inside so you know what's awesome and a must have.

This month was amazing as usual with a really great variety of beauty loot. Grapefruit Basil body scrub from Molly Rose Balms, The granola Goat's amazing face serum, Terre Mere face brush, Medusa's Makeup all over bronzer, seriously awesome.

The scrub was just great all around not too wet of a formula, extra grainy and really gives a nice deep scrub and smells absolutely phenomenal!

The face brush is super soft and I love the contrast of the gold and white it makes the brushes look extra fancy on your vanity. It has a nice soft feel, very similar to any other faux hair brush you might purchase but what I noticed with this that I really liked was that there was Zero Fallout!

The face serum I have not gotten a chance to try but I am planning on using it this week, so I will be back to update you guys on my thoughts about that. I will say that I read over the ingredients list and it is chock-full of healing and hydrating ingredients so I am really really excited to start slathering it all over my face.

The Medusa's makeup bronzer is a little too on the orange side for me so I'm actually going to be saving that for a giveaway for you guys, no sense in me dipping into it and contaminating it when I know my colors and that one is just going to make me look silly. I will say I have heard reviews from several people that their bronzers are great and have good color output so I will have to find a cooler shade one and grab it up for myself!

So this is the part where I tell you that you absolutely need to get a vegan Cuts box, because you do! For only 20 bucks a month you get a box full of awesome stuff and it's like Christmas every single month :-) they also have snack boxes, man boxes, work out boxes basically boxes full of anything you could imagine or have a hobby for that is cruelty free my so definitely check them out!

CLEAR skin Before School BEGINS! Pt.2  & DIY secrets...

9/4/2015

Treatments and masks:

Derma e spot treatment

With ingredients like Tea Tree, Willow Bark, Rosewood, Lavender and Chamomile-you are getting some serious redness and inflammation reducing power, without all the chemicals. After cleansing and toning, use a q-tip to apply right to the blemished areas.

100% Pure Cosmetics spot treatment

With active, natural ingredients aloe, with hazel and lavender-it helps to calm irritation nd bumps without overdrying or irritating.

My DIY at home spot treatment secrets..

My Favorite go to’s are tea tree, just dab right on the spot. This is called using the oil “neat” or undiluted. I use a q-tip to apply and it really helps to shrink them and reduce redness. My favorite of all time for cystic like blemishes is oregano oil. I smell like delicious pizza, but no pizza face! It really, significantly reduces the redness and pain overnight. The other upside to these oils is you can add them right into your concealer and make a DIY acne treatment for the daytime!

Masks are actually incredibly important. They help to keep the skin renewed and fresh as well as clog free. Here are some of my all time favorites:

No end Naturals French Green Clay Mask

Hands down, best mask I have ever used and really feels invigorating and refreshing. It cleans out my pores without drying out or irritating my skin and helps to keep my pores clearer than they have ever been. My friend’s all own this mask now because I won’t shut up about it. It’s really, really great and I use it as an all over detox body mask too. It’s great right before you hop in a hot bath and you can soak and just gently buff it away.

Hana Organics

This Lavender grains cleanser is not only unique but really beautifully packaged as well. It has a tiny ceramic scoop for you to get just the right amount without being wasteful. You can use this as a cleanser and a mask as well, which is just too cool. It has oats and white clay so absorb oils and get dirt out, and calming lavender and calendula to calm angry skin.

DIY masks secrets...

Some of my absolute favorites are simple, one ingredient masks. For acne prone, non sensitive skins, try tomato. It is really refreshing and cleans deep. Pineapple and papaya are amazing-they contain enzymes that eat dead skin cells and leave your skin so soft and clean. I have noticed clearer skin just one day after using these. Banana is a great, hydrating and inexpensive way to treat blemishes and add some hydration without oil. Turmeric and chickpea flour is great for reducing hyperpigmentation if you mess with your skin too much or pick!

How to HURRY UP & get CLEARER SKIN before SCHOOL STARTS!PT.1

8/16/2015

Get Glowing before you get going, back to school-

This is one of those back to school things that I REALLY looked forward to; going back with CLEAR SKIN! Everyone wants to come back to school suddenly clear skinned and fresh faced, maybe with a sunkissed glow! The first thing to know; less is more. The more you slather on the drying agents, the more breakouts you will end up with. Here’s some sure fire ways to get crackin’ on better skin before school starts!

My absolute TOP TIPS that will change your acne game;

  1. DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE (really work on this one)

  2. Spot treat only, no need to apply drying and medicated creams all over, just spot treat and use a clean cotton swab instead of your finger

  3. Use a gentle cleanser that won’t strip your skin

  4. Always balance with a toner and moisturizer-yes, even for acneic skin types!

  5. Start using fragrance and dye free detergents for your clothes and bed linens, no sense in washing them often to keep away breakouts if the fragrance and dyes just break you out!

  6. Check your shampoos and styling products to make sure their ingredients aren’t adding to your breakouts, oils, perfumes and dyes are main culprits as well as sulfates.

  7. Water and green tea are your best friend- drink AT LEAST half your weight in oz. per day! (ex. 120lb person would need about 60 oz. a day). Water and green tea are acne enemy #1!

  8. Green smoothies are a great way to up your fruit and veggie intake, especially if you are eating junk a lot. Try starting with a fruity green smoothie in the A.M. and you will not only feel full, energized and light, but you will be gently detoxing and giving your skin and body much needed nutrition!

  9. De stress. If you are stressing then no topical magic cream or cleanser can help. If you are stressed to the max-get outside! Go for a bike ride, walk or jog if you can. Go skating, hiking, swimming-whatever gets you out and about to unload your mind. It really does work and alleviates stress and breakouts too.

  10. Mask and treat. Using DIY masks is my favorite thing to do for myself. I make a “spa day” atleast once a week to unwind and treat my skin. This calms the nerves and deep cleans the skin of toxins and lightly exfoliates too. EXTRA POINTS if you take a nice hot detox bath, Epsom salt soak or just a fun bubble bath!

Cleansers

My very best cleanser that I have ever used, is super gentle and calms redness is this DIY by the lovely Steph_Arizona. It is soap free, oil free, sudsy free and is a miracle to my face.

Alba Botanica Acne dote: This is a medicated cleanser that gets deep into pores. I wouldn’t recommend medicated washes everyday (can be drying) but maybe every other to get a deep clean.

Desert Essence Thoroughly clean face wash: The Hawaiian Awapuhi plant adds hydration without an oily feeling and tea tree is a natural anti-bacterial that is tingly and refreshing. This cleanser smells refreshing and really wakes you up but also leaves your skin balanced and uber soft.

Herbalism- LUSH’s big time seller is a blend of clays and oil absorbers as well as some fresh smelling herbal blends to gently and naturally clean your face. It comes in a tub and is not a liquid but more like a paste you work into a lather with water and cleanse with. This is a great cleanser if your combination skinned and get dried out easily by lathering cleansers.

Toners and PH balancers:

Sometimes witch hazel (alcohol free), apple cider vinegar (diluted with distilled water) or good ol' green tea does the trick for me, but sometimes we need something more...or just something in a cute bottle!

Toner:

Bare Bones makes some really rad, Vegan goodies for your bodycare needs and this minimalist toner is the bomb! Very limited ingredients like lemon and witch hazel-enough to clean without stripping and balance out your face after a good cleanse.

Pro Tip: Leave face damp with toner before applying moisturizer. This helps the skin really utilize the products you’re applying and pulls them into the skin!

Are you a DIYer? Watch my girl Steph_Arizona create this easy, natural toner that you can make at home too!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eItPPf_-mp4

Or this Vegan Toner for CHEAP DIY video done by my other girl Sunny at Vegan Beauty Review!

 Moisturizer

I am an Aloe fan. I LOVE aloe. I don’t like thick creams or greasy balms all over my face, I just FEEL it clogging my pores! Aloe is rich in anti bacterial agents and is great at healing the skin. I use the fresh leaves I get from the market because they are the purest form of aloe, but you can buy the pressed juice and add it to spritz bottle or cotton round and you can also grab some bottled aloe too!

Pressed juice aloe : Lakewood is my favorite for shelf stable aloe. It had lemon as the preserver and that’s it! Aloe and lemon. Simple, effective.

Bottled aloe is usually my last ditch effort but sometimes it’s all you can find, it still works though.

This Beauty Without Cruelty moisturizer is one of the few I actually like to put on my face that is a cream. It is lightweight and feels like a gel cream. I use it with a damp face after toner or a hot shower and it absorbs well and hydrates and plumps. It has a beautiful aromatherapy scent, with natural essential oils.

Also, Shea Butter. It's super healing and hydrating, grab a raw form of it at Whole foods, Target or any health food site.

IMPORTANT ETCETERAS for fab skin...

So basically, I wake up each day and try to begin healthy-this sets a tone for the whole day. I make a green smoothie or have oats or something good for me. I pack a healthy lunch and bring along my green tea. To make my green tea easy for me, because I love it cold brewed, I grab my water bottle, fill it, pop two teabags in and pop it in the fridge overnight. In the A.M. I have a lunch prepared and my green tea nice and chilled and steeped and full of antioxidant super skin powers, all ready for me to drink up!

I try to drink only water and green tea, especially if I get a breakout suddenly. I find that when my skin used to be super oily, or in the hotter months-peppermint tea was not only cooling but helps keep oil production down. Pretty awesome stuff, these plant things. And just FYI, since cutting out sugar like 90% of the way from my diet and adding green tea everyday, it has made all the difference.

I also wash and change my bed linens regularly to keep all the oils and skin cells off my newly cleansed skin. Keep this in mind for your face cleansing washcloths, towels, makeup brushes and sponges too!

Pro Tip: I use Dr. Bronner's castile soap to clean my makeup brushes. It is magic and you need a TINY amount-plus they smell great afterward!

Be careful not to touch your face-sometimes it's easier said then done but TRY!

TIP: If you PICK AT YOUR SKIN, this is the regimen I have down that works unicorn wonders on my skin-for burns and boo boos too! I mix a glob of aloe (preferably fresh) with tea tree oil drops, mix well. I apply this to my skin in globs, right on the scab overnight. Let it dry in a glob on the spot, don't rub it in. You can also cover it overnight.

In the daytime, use super skin regenerating raw shea butter to hydrate and heal the skin uber fast.

If you have a big, painful bump that you can extract and it just hurts bad-it's probably a cyst. DO NOT pick at this. Ice it well, apply a mask to the spot, let dry, rinse, pat dry and apply oil of oregano. This stuff is FANTASTIC and reducing the swelling in cystic acne!

Definitely check out my step by step video on all this stuff!

STAY TUNED FOR PT.2 COMING UP! Spot treatments, masks, and more magical healing goodies for your skin!

Hope this helps xo

INs & OUTs of Vegan contraception | ULTIMATE natural contraceptives guide!

7/15/2015

Picture
Glyde condoms are "Sustainably produced, vegan and fair trade"-these are the easy, go to method for anyone looking for non-hormonal birth conrtol that the guy can be in charge of. It can be your part to buy them, or even carry them, but he's the one that's going to be wearing these puppies. So be sure with this method, that he is just as responsible as you are about "applying" said product when the time comes. If you are super turned on by fruit, there's favored ones too.

Neem may have some spermicidal effects and has been used all over the world as a natural contraception. It has been studied and looks to be incredibly effective, mainly when men take it orally and women also use a neem suppository (in her lady bits) before any action takes place. It basically keeps any swimmers from getting to their desired destination. Be SURE to do your research on this on your own! Be very careful and also keep in mind that this doesn't protect from STD's (although some studies with it find that it can help somewhat protect women from a an array of them). This is not fail proof but it's totally worth checking into!

PS it's said to kill sperm within 30 seconds of contact!

Here's a good article on neem for contraception

Picture
That's Pennyroyal. It's beautiful but serious. For anyone looking for something more natural than the "morning after" pill, look into Pennyroyal. Pennyroyal has been said to induce abortion like effects as well as start up the menstrual cycle. This is one I would talk to a Licensed Holistic Practitioner about.

Queen Anne's Lace is another that is similar to the Pennyroyal in that it is more "emergency contraception". This herb is said to block progesterone which disrupts the implanting of sperm into the egg. Munching on the whole seeds themselves is supposed to be the most effective. It is said with this herb to not go longer than 8-9 hours after contact with sperm to begin taking and to remain taking for a few days after. Be sure to check with a Holistic Practioner on the exact logistics and dosages.
Picture
FemCap

The Non-Hormonal, Latex free, cruelty free FemCap- kind of like a diaphram, but updated and cooler.

ContraGel

There's also a natural alternative to spermicide to use with your new FemCap or your diaphram you already use, or even the Caya below.

Caya

This one looks really interesting (above) and is really piqueing alot of interest lately. It's again, like the diaphram, but more contoured to the body and has a tab for easier removal. Looks pretty legit!

Picture
Copper IUD

The copper IUD is just that, copper. No hormones. YAY! Right? Well... IUDs are said to be pretty damn effective, the only reason I hardly ever recommend this method to anyone is because I have seen it cause people bad cramping and a much heavier flow and acne. However, if you are hardly effected by your cycle and don't get a lot of acne, cramping or heavy flow-this may be a good, natural method for you.

Picture
The Rhythm method

This is one of those methods you must, must, must stay on top of and be precise with everytime. EVERY.TIME. No oopsies or uh-ohs. I know people personally who ahve used this without issue, I also know one couple who failed. Out of 4 couples, one got pregnant. This is also with them using it correctly and religously. I would definitely research this is you are a very sensitive person and nothing seems to work for you. This is one though, that I feel is best for long term partners, married couples or people who won't be that bummed or distraught if it doesn't work.

For the space age, shiny, chrome version of the Rhythm method, check out the Lady Comp. It is a fertility monitor, so whether you want to get preggo or NOT- it'll monitor all that occurs in your lady regions. Another great option for people who are too sensitive to stick neem up there hoo-ha , take hormones, or use any kind of plastics for protection. A lot of women really seem to love the Lady Comp device. It is a pretty penny, but so are children.

Exiting. Pulling out. You know. Sadly, this is not a great form of protection as it has a pretty high failure rate, however, used with the Rhythm (calendar) method (done correctly), the fertility monitor, or the neem method-this may just be pretty effective... well, better than the nothing you may be using right now!

Be sure to see your OBGYN about ANY of these things we talked about here before initiating them with a partner or integrating them into your lifestyle. Maybe even make an appointment with a natural or holistic practitioner and see if your doctor and naturopath can get on the same page about non-hormonal and cruelty free options for you! Be sure to do all your research, reading and share your thoughts with your partner.

VEGAN egg dyeing for Springtime!

3/31/2015

Picture
Ladies and Gents, let me introduce you to a super-fun and  seriously innovative, Vegan craft, Egg Nots! They are these egg shaped, ceramic eggs made just for crafting. They are perfect for those of us who don't use eggs, find them gross, or are uber allergic. Not to mention, this is yet another awesome way to keep yourself and your Vegan or allergic kids, from feeling left out from cool activities...again...

Picture
Just use your fav Vegan color or DIY some. Mix color, with  HOT water and a tbsp. or so of white vinegar and BAM! Egg coloring for everyone! I used the Wilton food coloring since they said it's plant based. I wrote them personally.  Here I just used a pink, deep blue, turquoise and yellow and green. I weighted the eggs to the bottom with spoons and left them in the jars of color for about 15-30 minutes and they looked absolutely perfect, like the real thing. It definitely took me back to the days of Easter egg dyeing with Grandma and Mom.
Picture
I mean really. Look at them. It looks just like a carton of real eggs! They are smooth and lightweight like eggs too! It really threw me how realistic these are and how they were able to be dyed like the real deal. Cruelty free and fun, I am digging it.
Picture
I turned the carton over and used it to dry the eggs, yes I am a genius an quite innovative. They dry SO FAST! I was able to keep on decorating and move them around to let others dry so fast :)
Picture
So? What do you guys think?! I am in love. I think this is fantastic. I like feeling included in traditional things but being able to remain cruelty free. So this is definitely a new tradition that is going to happen in my house every year.

* I also  thought that you could keep them to dye again next year. Like the pink ones could go in the blue dye to be purple next Spring! You're welcome!

So, in conclusion Egg Nots is rad and I definitely think you guys and your families will love them!

I wan to see YOUR crafts, so tag me on Instagram : Supernaturalegirl

Banana Hair & Face smoothie for Hydrated skin, hair and disappearing dark spots!

3/24/2015

I am a foodie. By foodie I mean I like to eat. I like to eat healthy. I also like to use healthy things ON my body. I am so inspired when I see my fruit or veggies going bad-to hurry up and find a way to use them. A few months ago I discovered banana hair and face masks. Most people use them with oils and honey and all kinds of other stuff. I just use bananas an they are amazing!

They are so high in wonderful minerals and vitamins that they restore hair health and growth, turn over skin cells and hydrate skin. Guess what? They also help keep acne away AND help clear it up fast! They are anti microbial. Little sugary powerhouses of goodness. Plus you can eat them and make nanaicecream. The possibilities are simply endless. I love them.

Cheap, Beautiful DIY Laundry Detergent

7/31/2014

Picture

With only a few simple ingredients, you can make your very own Vegan and Natural Laundry Wash! It's seriously just a few cents per load! Here's how it's done:

2 Cups of Borax

2 Cups of Washing Soda

1/2 C. Baking soda

and a Bar of Dr.Bronner's Soap (whichever scent you love)

In a Large glass jar, combine all the ingredients and shake well. For the soap, just use a grater and shave it down. This creates the suds and the beautiful scent in your wash. I chose lavender since it's my very favorite.

Add some flair to your wash! I added the word "wash" or "laundry" in different languages all over the bottle. You could brush on chalkboard paint and write whatever you'd like. There are so many cute and fun things to do for this project! Attach a wooden scoop on a string, or decorate one to keep inside the see-thru jug.

Be sure to tag me on Instagram so I can see all your beautiful crafty ideas! #supernaturalegirl

Make sure that the brands you are buying are cruelty free brands. A lot of companies test on animals, even today.

The 20 mule team Borax is cruelty free and Bob's Red Mill Baking soda is cruelty free!

I have personally used this and still do and it works really well. I also add a splash of white vinegar to soften clothes and help eliminate pet and man odor ;)

Simple and elegant. Use a deep conditioner, let air dry to avoid drying out ends and  smooth hair using your favorite hair smoothing products.

Pull all hair to one side, gently smoothing it over with a soft brush. Braid and tie with a non-metal clasp elastic.

For easy elegance, smooth your bangs over and pin, even adding a decorative pin adds fun!

If all you take away from this is an hour of twisting your hair around, so be it! Let it down!
Comb it out, smooth it down and add a barrette or a pin, or simply let it go natural.
All the twisting and smoothing will make for some beautiful, soft, tousled waves anyhow.
Plus, you're already dressed to the nines, and your makeup is perfection, so naturally soft locks is a perfect fit!♥

DIY Spooktacular Halloween Looks without the Toxins!

10/27/2013

 TERRIFYINGLY TOXIC FACE SLUDGE!?
NO WAY!
Going GREEN for Halloween
!

Picture
Picture
Picture
Monave is one of my all time favorite companies. So it comes as no surprise that I would reach for old trusty Monave makeup to create some ghoulish fun for the Holiday!
Why use scary toxic chemicals that not only don't last all night, but clog your pores with toxic waxes and JUNK?!

Here are some ideas that you can modify and use your own creative little monster imaginations with. I created a cat, mermaid and a steampunk look. If you are not into these or are looking for super simple, or kid friendly looks, be sure to head over to grab these Gluten free and vegan natural face paints from Monave! http://www.monave.com/kids-corner/

First I created this cat look inspired by an Abyssinian face. My parents own one and she is, hands down, the loviest cat.
Now, you can use blacks and greys to create a smokey cat effect or add spots and use golds for a wild cat look. Make it your own! Be sure to share you look on Instagram with me #supernaturalegirl!

Cat/Lion/Wildcat Face prep:
I first prepped my Face with a dusting of  the  Monave Serecite Powder. It fills in pores and actually can give you a smoother, more even canvas to work with.
I took a foundation 1-2 shades LIGHTER and 3-4 shades DARKER than my skintone and applied as you see here:

I then used a large fluffy foundation brush and used light circular motions to blend it all in.

I then took my Monave Bronzer in #310 and reapplied it to the darker areas to really add some POP and dimension to them. I also added the very light foundation in Claire with the Serecite , to whiten the highlighted areas around the eyes and mouth.

Eyes:

Now in this step you can really get creative and play up your eyes. After all, it's a cat look. Add some lashes, sparkles, rhinestones, tons of liner, whatever your feline heart desires.

I used the Monave Cream 2 Powder in Brown and warmed it up with my finger and smudged it over my lid and slightly into the crease. I outlined the nose with a fine pointed brush, and dotted on the whisper holes onto my lip, as well as created whisker lines.
I took a dense flat eyeshadow brush and packed on the # 70 shadow color. I followed it up with a cat eye liner in Cream 2 powder Black.

Nose:

The nose was a basic triangular shape that I filled in using Monave's blush in #218 mixed with a light foundation powder shade. It gave me the PURRRfect pink for my kitty nose!

Like the title states below, you can again, get really creative here and add your own touches and creativity! You can use various shades of greens to make an out-of-this world alien look, or a variety of pinks, sparkles and purples for a girlier mermaid look. Or, you could simply do this semi-dark evil mermaid lady I did here.

Mermaid/Alien/Fearie/Nymph Face prep:

I began once again by lightly dusting the pretty-making Serecite powder all over. This helps hold onto my makeup and keeps it smooth. I used shadow #89 which is a lovely Grey-green iridescent color. I used a contour brush and  contoured the forehead area almost in the shape of an "M". I continued to buff and dust the color down into the hollows of my cheekbones as well.

Scales:

Here I simply created just a shape for scales using a dense, finer pointed shadow brush. I used the GORGEOUS shimmery deep green shade "Tourmaline". I then used shadow #66 to add a purple iridescence to them in the light. I took #66 and lightly used a fluffy eyeshadow brush to dust over the scales, creating more dimension. You could skip this if you like.

Eyes:

Tourmaline was used once again here to fill in my brows to a deep green color, it makes this look severe. If you want to cute it up or not be an evil something, skip this part as it is harsh looking.
I also patted Tourmaline onto my lids and used #89 to blend them up to my brown bone from the crease. This gave an EVIL smokey effect.

I then, of course, followed it up with the cream 2 powder black as my liner on my lid and in the waterline.

LIP:

I did two looks for you here to show you just how versatile-reptile this look really is. You can do a dark gradient lip. I used pink and purple here. You could do a black and deep red etc.
I put foundation over my lips to prime them, them patted
 # 66 purple into the corners of my lips using a fine dense brush. I patted the pink blush in #218 into the center parts of my lips as well. I then used a clean, brush and blended the edges in together only slightly.

I also tried a less dark look by using a lovely nude lip that was a GREAT contrast to the greens. This nude was in #158 and it is by far one of my most favorite Monave products to date!

Be sure to add FLARE and PIZZAZ and be UNIQUE!

PLEASE SHARE YOUR LOOKS WITH ME ON INSTAGRAM!

AND

STEAMUNK GIRL:

With this look, I honestly just winged it last minute. I prepped my face like the other looks and used the black and brown cream to powders for the smokey looking parts around the gear and the outlinings. I filled in the gears with some of these colors and added gold touches to them:
*Face Illuminator(pinky gold color)
*Gold shadow in #34
*Mineral Blush #70
*eyeshadow in "chiffon"

Please make this your own and just use this as a guideline and be sure to share your looks with me!

•EASY• DIY  Body Scrub/Peel for Sun Damage and Acne

Picture
Too much sun, touching our skin and messing with it, sleeping on our face,
forgetting to wash off our makeup before bed, not enough water, and poor diet
wreak havoc on our skin!
The body skin too! Back acne, dark spots, blemishes,
redness, clogged pores and dryness! This peel helps to regenerate skin and start fresh!

First things first, if you have sensitive skin, please test this on your
forearm first. Tingling is totally normal, however, burning, excessive redness
and severe itching is not.

Step 1:Preparing the skin
For the body use a rough textured towel, hemp
cloth, or do dry brushing first. This helps to expel toxins and slough off dead
skin to reveal fresher cells and will help the peel be a lot more effective.
♥♥♥LOVE these cloths♥♥♥
http://www.livinglibations.com/organic-hemp-face-cloths

For the Face, I do not recommend doing this as it can cause sensitivity too
easily. Simply wash your face with you favorite cleanser, something gentle and
non-stripping. Pat dry.

simply pop the top in water for a few days then into
a pot of soil, in a couple years you’ll have a pineapple!

Step 2: Prepping your Pineapple
simply cut off top and place in a small
bowl of water, we’re saving this to plant.
Next, cut of rind and slice
pineapple into chunks.

 TIP:
Save the rinds with pineapple as you can sprinkle them with salt to
cleanse your cutting board or to use as a Body scrubber! (per above first
pic)
Just add salt, scrub the board and rinse! For the body add sugar or
salt and use the pineapple rind as a scrubby pad. This is great for elbows,
knees and feet!

Step 3: “Put the Lime in the Coconut”
Add the Pineapple Chunks to a
blender and blend until frothy and liquid. Pour into a Glass container to keep
in the fridge. Will keep for a little over a week (use as many times as you’d
like!

apply it a little thicker in problem areas where you
have blemishes, dark spots, sun spots or fine lines

Face: Apply in a thick layer and rub all over using fingertips or a mask
brush. Leave on for desired amount of time or until dry and rinse well. Be sure
you are applying the froth and the liquid, so shake well before applying, the
froth won’t do much of anything by itself.

*tip: if you have stubborn blackheads mix a little bit of scrubby granules in
like oatmeal flour, almond meal or apricot scrub to really slough off dead
cells. http://www.albabotanica.com/collections/natural-hawaiian-skin-care/pore-purifying-pineapple-enzyme-1.html

For the body, after you have dry brushed or dry exfoliated with a cloth,
apply all over body while standing in the tub (no water running). Allow to sit
on body for 20-30 minutes.http://www.earththerapeutics.net/prodinfo.asp?number=6970

*tip:Before hopping in the shower you can take a handful of raw sugar and use this to really get the dead cells off and add glow to your skin! Rinse well, pat
gently dry. No need to cleanse after this is rinsed off.

Now you’re one smooth operator! Hope you enjoy!
